Writing Classes

Creative Writing Classes are starting soon and we still have room for you or your child! These classes focus on craft, genre, word choice, and communication skills.
Units include fiction (novel, short story, etc), non-fiction (memoirs, biographies, etc), poetry, scripts, and more.
Classes are held once per week for 90 minutes depending on age range: 10-12, 13-15, 16-18. Class times and days are posted below.
High school students will be able to submit short stories or poetry to the UVU Speculative Fiction Journal, Warp & Weave.

Credentials: Bachelors Degree in English-Creative Writing, freelance editor, author, public speaker, and president of the Eagle Mountain/Saratoga Springs League of Utah Writers Chapter.

60/month January-April, May-August, September-December. Includes binders, books, and homework sheets.

Last day to register yourself or your student is January 4th. If a class does not sufficiently fill, it will be cancelled and your deposit refunded

Classes are Tuesday-Thursday, starting with:
10-12 on Tuesdays at 6:30pm
13-15 on Wednesdays at 4:30pm
16-18 on Thursdays at 4:30pm
18+ on Thursdays 7:00pm
